What is Immigration Equality?

Immigration Equality is a coalition of immigrants, attorneys and other activist that addresses the widespread discriminatory impact of immigration laws on the lives of lesbians, gay, bisexual, transgander (LGBT) men and people with HIV through education, outreach and advocacy, and by providing legal services, information, referrals and support. ImEq provides pro-bono represention for LGBT and HIV-positive individuals seeking asylum because of brutal persecution they have endured in their own countries.
