Excellence in immigration law
Masliah & Soloway works with individual non-citizens to address all types of immigration problems and particularly those involving employment authorization, family reunification, naturalization, and asylum.
Committed to client service and satisfaction, each client is personally attended to by one of the partners who work together as a team to efficiently obtain the client's particular goals. A client relationship with Masliah & Soloway begins with an initial in-office consultation, either in-person or by phone. This confidential consultation is an essential opportunity for our attorneys to provide clients with a detailed analysis of their immigration problems, needs and goals. The initial consultation provides the firm with necessary information to analyze all immigration options, including the timing and cost for achieving the results sought.
Prior to a consultation, clients should send the firm copies of relevant documents for review (e.g., their curriculum vitae or resume and copies of all immigration-related documents relevant to their status, including passport, I-94 Arrival/Departure Card, previous submissions to or decisions by the Dept. of Labor, the Immigration Service or the Immigration Court). Potential clients are provided with a Masliah & Soloway intake questionnaire which should be completed and submitted prior to the scheduled consultation.
All communications with Masliah & Soloway attorneys and staff are confidential as part of the attorney-client privilege.
Our firm's value oriented fee philosophy provides our clients with a responsive and effective legal team dedicated to results. In most cases, Masliah & Soloway bills on a flat fee rather than on an hourly basis. Fees in each case reflect the individual facts presented during the consultation, the urgency of the client's problem, the anticipated time and skill required achieving the client's goals, and estimated disbursements.
Attorneys will only quote a fee for a given case after a thorough assessment of the facts presented. Changes in the material facts of a case may change the fee quoted.
Clients will receive a written fee agreement describing the services to be rendered and terms of payment. Installment payment plans are available and are customized to meet the needs of clients.
